It is a dark, cold morning, o son… quite unlike the warm, bright day on which you began your commitment of one month of daily morning meditations, two years past. It was a beginning, in faith and ignorance. You wrote from out of your mind… and isn’t it interesting that your theme on that day and Duane’s theme yesterday morning were both from the Preacher – for everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven? You knew it was a time to hear, but you did not know what that meant and what it would lead to. Hence you must also observe the third time of remembrance on the 20th… My intrusion into the meditation.

Yes, I am here. I direct you to new thoughts and ideas. I interpret Scripture and other spiritual writings and hearings to you. I tell again old truths, and I repeat the directions for your life and its rhythm endlessly. I am insistent, but I am also merciful and forgiving. I would have you use your time better; still, I would be pleased with many of your uses of time. Know, of course, that this time of meditative writing is a top priority. Come whenever you feel the need. And come, of course, when My call to you is clear and insistent.

This morning, for example. You went to bed late and then were awake for some time with Matthew; still, you woke ahead of the alarm clock, and there was no doubt that this is the way to start this day. When My call and your willingness coincide, We have the “best combination”.

This is a time to let Me use your vocabulary and writing style. From this experience you gain from the writing… and also from the content. You feel chagrin that you have not written much for publication this year. In one sense, you are not producing, and you know this is not as it should be. At the same time you can note, with some humble pride, the eight plus “volumes” you have written, with content that you shall use increasingly and with more and more comfort.

You are “generating”, in this unique way, source material which shall have many uses. Be more aware of opportunities for use of these teachings. Know that they ARE a unique, original source of spiritual truth, for they originate in Me, the Holy Spirit, the well-spring of all spiritual manifestations.
