Answering Questions

You had an opportunity last evening, o son, to answer some questions about this that We do together. Though you are reluctant to enter into such an interchange you generally do (and you did) well. Your confidence in the truth and reality of this venture in spiritual communication is growing and developing. But you know that the only way to really develop the capacity to answer questions about and properly describe this time of writing… is to actually do it.

Know that Lenore is a partner with you in this. Her role is more that of the “administrator”… the one who sets up the situation, introducing you and the writing meditation so that you are launched into talking about it… in situations that you would have let slide by. This is an important function… a good partnership. She must just not get too zealous. Exposition sessions now are more for practice and growing in capacity than for evangelistic conversion. Oh, each is important, and it is good that selected people know about these communications, but you are not yet ready to “step forth”.

You saw again last night that the most effective way to answer questions about these writings it to read directly from them. I can help you make the selections, but only as you are aware of the content behind the title. You need to build a time of regular review into your work schedule… and then be faithful in fulfilling that responsibility… and pleasure. Never forget that these are the most relevant, personalized source of information, insight, even wisdom, that you have available… beyond the Scriptures themselves. If you come close to giving the time to these that you give to perusing the secular news you will do well.

Because each of these teachings is, in effect, a story, the generalization would be that the best way to answer a question about this meditation is with a story. You accept this as true, but you don’t yet implement it in action. I shall continue to help you do this.

The answer to the question, “Why were you chosen to have this experience?” is, semi-facetiously, “Why not?” I, the Holy Spirit, the teaching and comforting nature of the One True God, have always chosen people for tasks… of many sorts. Some are huge and evident, and the people are well remembered. But many tasks are small and unnoticed by much of the world… and hence the chosen one is not well-known. I often select one person to minister directly to one other. It can be that simple. This is all terribly and delightfully intermixed with the free will of individuals. You come this morning. To what extent have I drawn you here and to what extent have you decided to do this?

You do know that you did not “make up” this whole experience in writing. There is no reason, even half-way plausible, given your personal, theological, and professional background, that you would initiate and carry on such an activity, and identify it as you do. It is not part of your story, reasonably, that you would fabricate such. It is not reasonable or likely that your mind would do this, against its better judgment.

It is part of your story that you are chosen for this, because of your personal well-being, spiritual openness, and professional competence. You are to help expand the concept of health… positive, holistic health. Health is a broad, general concept anyway; an expansion could make it even less knowable. Yet this expansion can, with My help, make health more understandable to many people.
