Grace

Welcome, o son, to a time of teaching about grace. You know much about it, but there is ever more to learn… and old teachings need to be reencountered and relearned.
It is grace and forgiveness that is the basis for your welcome back. You have not “had time” for this meditation. Other duties were more important. You know I want you here. And yet you have accepted My grace and you return… and the first word you hear is Welcome. That could be a “shorthand” description of My grace: no matter what you’ve done, no matter how long it has been, when you turn again to Me, with sincerity, “Welcome” is what you hear.
Judgment is for the unreconciled. For those who accept My offer, the dominant theme is a loving welcome. And for you who are “of My fold” the state of mind is comparable: you know you should be here, but when you return, after a time, you are repentant but are quick to receive forgiveness again. No great guilt trip… I say Welcome, and you say, “Glad to be back”. On with the learning!
Grace is necessary in order to make a working relationship between Me and you possible. You hear My voice, you read My Scriptures, and from these you know of ways you should be and things you should do and not do. With this knowledge and then the perceptions of what you actually do and how you are it is difficult to approach Me. You have read of souls in other parts of this earth who come long distances on their knees, doing penance for “wrongs committed”. Without grace all would have to grovel on their (your) knees eternally. But with grace it is silly to stay upon your knees. Be there only long enough to feel its warmth engulf you. Then rise and praise and “get on with life”, empowered by My Force.
Grace came for all at Pentecost, after My death and resurrection as Jesus. Still, you recognize the presence of grace much before. Certainly Abraham felt it and accepted it and acted as he should, under its power. Moses exhibited it most fully. He heard My voice, and he replied. He argued with Me. He knew that he was accepted. And he accepted the disappointment of not entering the Promised Land with the full knowledge that Our relationship would still continue. With grace you do not get all you want, but you certainly get all that you need.
The prophets showed an acceptance of grace. They were not “worthy” to be My messengers, but they did it because grace says “Yes, you can… I want you to”.
Accept more fully your opportunities. It shall become known that you are the one interested in spirit, empowered by Spirit. Chris came, and you now are off onto a good, worthwhile project. The response to your “songs and stories” was a pretty clear indication that I am in the lives of these young people. Help them to see how this influence can be part of their professional lives, as well. Help them to be more comfortable with the grace that they… and you… accept. There is an important bond between and among those who accept My grace.
Yet know also that manifestation of this grace – acceptance – comes in many forms. Be open to variety. Look only for the genuine verity, not the outer covering or form. John Patrick shows a different form, and he comes to it in different ways, but he has accepted My Spirit. All of your sons have or shall, but the ways will vary.
Grace is fundamental to life in the Spirit. The alternatives are to avoid Me and try to “manufacture” “Spirit” from spirit… or to remain distant and in awe, painfully aware of the great gap between Us. (Actually, with these it remains us; Us comes with grace.)
Paul says, That which does not proceed from faith is sin. The equally true reverse of that is “That which proceeds from faith is righteousness. If you do it under grace it is OK with Me. Righteousness is just defined a little differently. Of all My choices this seems best.
Return and learn more. Renew yourself in this way. I consecrate you anew as Servant.
Amen
