Life Partner, No Ka Oe

Yes, o son, this is the anniversary… #47… of your marriage to Lenore, the life partner best for you. As you now know… and did know 50 years ago, to some extent… you two were destined to be together. All earth life situations are not predestined, but neither is everything just a matter of chance and “free will.” It is complex, but you’ll have a clearer picture of how it is when you return to spirit realms.

Your culture’s dominant perception is that the two of you just met, dated, had some trouble coming to agreement, but then decided, as free, “one-life only” humans, to marry and share life together. I have let you know… remember, actually… that your meeting and “pursuing” Lenore was not just an accident. Because of your “state of being” in relation to girls/women in those early years you had to be “energized” to seek this “good” for your life in ways not familiar to you.

Lenore’s spirit, “younger” than yours, was not initially appreciative of you as a life partner. You were not her ideal, and she wanted “more than you,” as she was anticipating her adult life. Thus, there was a certain amount of “battling” by the spirits of you two, and it wasn’t all fun. And if it had been all a matter of chance and free will it is unlikely that you would have prevailed.

I see, quite clearly, the many unfortunate results of just letting humans be “free.” Still, that is the basic “plan” for this realm. And yet, I’ll admit, I do have “capacities” and powers that, though seldom used, can guide, persuade, or actually determine what happens.

Oh, your spirits, yours and Lenore’s were compatible and nicely complementary, but the way each of you had lived life to the point of your meeting and becoming acquainted did not favor an easy, comfortable coming together. I had to push and pull a bit, assuring you, in some of My subtle ways, that you were meant for each other.

Of course all of this had to be preceded by My guiding each of you in your interviews with John Fox, which meant that I had to influence him in certain positive ways toward the two of you. You were single, and he needed another single man as a dormitory “counselor.” You would be a good complement to Kenny Kiefer, as a football coach already hired. Anyway, John came through in enticing both you and Lenore to positions that you, particularly, had not previously envisioned.

Another factor, for you, unrelated to your School duties nor to Lenore, was your “attraction” to that Polynesian/Oriental culture. The “sense” that developed, as you were there, was that you had had some previous living experiences with these folks. And isn’t it strange (or is it?) that the “workings” of your life, and others, still bring you back to that Island situation. Oh, I do enjoy it when “a plan comes together” in ways like this one.

And then, from the beginning of your married life there, in Hawaii, as a gung ho coach, your life journey took you to Stanford and then to this position and place, so unlike the Island scene and your childhood and youth environment. You know, by this time, that I have guided you (even to coming this morning, at a semi-early hour) in ways a bit more direct than My guidance of most of you humans. No, there is no cosmic reason for all of this. I just have been having fun in this special way, part of My “privilege” in being Holy Spirit.
