Opposition… Or Just Balancing?

This morning, a cool, winter one, hear My comments on cloning, bacteria, and weather patterns… as examples of the balancing of life on this planet, the land areas of which are “determined”. I speak as Holy Spirit and also as the Creator and Sustainer God… of all that is.

There is much in the news about destructive weather, with a few deaths and injuries and more human suffering… and expense. El Nino is blamed… or gets credit… for some of this… and it is fascinating that El Nino is a name for Me, as the Christ child. Though this planet, earth, is the only one in this solar system that can naturally sustain human and many other forms of life, a balance is essential, and you humans want to dominate in more and more ways.

Weather is one of the balancers of human growth and activity. Modern technology and the profligate use of stored, solar energy makes it possible for your humans to live almost everywhere on the land masses of Earth. Yet temperatures vary, ice storms do develop, trees fall and bring down electric lines, and humans suffer until power is restored.

Water is essential to all life, and yet when it comes in inches of rain or feet of snow you humans must adapt. Your technology helps, but it can’t take the place of low levels of adaptability that some folks have, for several reasons. Adaptability is both genetic and learned. Some of you are just naturally more adaptable. Some learn better than others. The young have not yet learned how to adapt, and the elderly are losing capacities they had as younger adults. Remember the Noah story as one of adaptation.

Then there is the “struggle” between humans and the “microscopic world”, which is also part of My Creation. In earlier eras (and in some places in the Earth today) the balancing of human and, say, bacterial life was a “natural” one. Bacteria caused what you humans called diseases and infections. Those with strong immune systems developed resistance, and their lives continued. Those who couldn’t adapt in this natural way became ill and some… even many… died.

Then came human ingenuity… more knowledge, more technology… immunizations… medicines. Bacteria were losing out to human ability to adapt. But bacteria also adapt, and now there is recognition of strains that are not affected by the antibiotics… and there shall be yet another new balancing of life. The “opposition perspective” on humans and bacteria downplays the fact that some bacteria are essential for healthy human life, and antibiotic drugs kill these, to the detriment of human life. Remember that ecological principles are part of My Creation. Humans came last. In one sense this signifies that you are “the greatest”. In another it signifies that you are the “most immature”. The Holy Scriptures are marvelous for guiding life, but they are not interpreted, sufficiently, as telling of this balancing of life that I emphasize with you.

Cloning is the capacity to produce a creature from the genetic material of another, the one created being an exact copy of the original. Thus, theoretically, if the “perfect human”, in all ways, could be identified, this one could be produced in great numbers. My reaction and response: there is no “perfect human”, and so faults and weaknesses would also be reproduced… the “system” I instituted – a random joining of an ovum and a sperm – is as good, overall, as cloning and certainly is cheaper. I am not concerned… My “system” will prevail, producing quite a range in capacities to adapt… to whatever the threats and challenges of the next generation may be.
