Spirit As Fuse

One night this week you drove the black VW, you jiggled the fuses to try to get the dark headlight to shine… and then the engine wouldn’t start. A fuse had fallen out. When this was found and replaced, o son, the car started. Let this be the basis of My teaching/your lesson today.

Without the fuse the car would “catch” but not run. No gas seemed to be getting through. Finally it just would not “catch” at all. So it is with the spirit. The spirit is the fuse that enables your life to “catch”, and function in ways worthwhile. (You are experiencing the loss of a fuse now. You have the theme, your “starter is grinding” but your fingers are not hearing and doing. Your spirit is not yet engaged. Despite all your experience with Our life together these times still occur and they are distressing to you. Should you try harder or try not at all? Finish out this teaching and you will have a better idea.)

Without the fuse the engine will not run. The engine is fine… it is ready to function. But that which monitors the conduction of a vital current is the key as to whether it runs or does not. It seems insignificant, but it obviously is vital.
