Summer Progress

It is almost mid-summer, and so, on a morning in which you needed more sleep than you thought necessary, I come to tell you about your progress… and lack of same… from My perspective. You know that while I may seem to be critical of your actions and inactions I love you, care for you, and just want you to be a better servant. (Don’t worry about the time. You’ll have enough. This is more important than reading the morning paper.)

Your class is larger than you like, but if these 3 women return this morning you shall let them remain in the class. You shall have the challenge of molding this larger group into something akin to your earlier summer class. It won’t be easy, and the prospect of twice as many papers is onerous, but it is a price for teaching this course so well in the past, even with comparable numbers. Work at getting all names and faces right, so that you know everyone’s name and each knows that. You were close yesterday, so try to close the gap today.

Notes or letters to those on your list were not completed during your “vacation.” It shall be hard to do that now, but each is important. With the letter and Teachings from Andy you must now see that as a priority. She is your special spiritual companion, and I want you to respond to her very soon after hearing from her. I am giving her Teachings more often than before, and I want you, and her, to appreciate how parallel they are. Keep everything you receive from her in the file you already have started. It shall be one of your important ones.

Among the letters I want you to write I’ll press you again to write to each of your sons. Each of them needs words of love and encouragement, especially for him. Keep trying to get in touch with Matthew, for he needs your counsel. He comes toward Me… then turns back… then pauses… and turns again. You are important to his progress, and I want this.

Continue your study in this particularly favorite Scripture of Mine… Ecclesiastes. Your memorization of these “Time to”’s seems to be better than previous attempts, but, as you noted yesterday, you don’t quite have the rhythm yet. You know these are important to your theology, so practice them sufficiently that they don’t “slip away” again. A time to remember… more important than a time to forget, say I, your Spirit guide and friend.
