The Challenge

You woke up quickly and ahead of the alarm, o son, and you heard the theme before you were out of bed. It would seem as though you are ready for the challenge of this spiritual focused conference. Oh, you have had lots of challenges this week, but this one that lies ahead is one of My best. You are not ready yet, but I have given you enough material. You can fashion a fine presentation today. But the “giving” of it tomorrow is the real challenge. The real challenge is to show forth who you are in the midst of presenting what it is about… the display of spirit more than the words about. You can do it… and I see no reason why you won’t.
Remember also the old truth: don’t let awareness pull you into “trying” to be spiritual. Don’t use any gimmicks to make a spiritual presentation. Just know that the quality and spirituality of what you do is a direct function of how you are in spirit. Read over a number of these meditations. Take the larger book with you, too. You have room. These shall be your major source of preparation. You know this. And you intend to feast on them today.
Yes, it should be like unto your classes yesterday. You could have emphasized the spiritual more… and the 533 class was ready for a spiritual interpretation of the Well-Springs. That would have been a fine conclusion. Still, you did show forth the spirit, even My Spirit, quite commendably. That was a fine afternoon of being. You “played it” by the feel of your spirit, just as you should have. I’m not being critical… just instructive about what you also could have done.
Spirit is the essence of you… and of many people. (There are some in whom it is a “buried” quality, but it is not your role to judge. It is your role to treat everyone as if their spirit were their essence.) Spirit is that which unifies the other dimensions into a real human being. Spirit is the essence of health. Spirit is that which guides functioning and that which guide adaptation. When you are functioning as a truly whole person your spirit is the guide.
But the quality of spirit is very important. The spirit naturally seeks to be led by a higher spirit. My Spirit is the highest, and your spirit seeks Me and the help I can provide. Some seek other high spirits, some of whom lead in ways non-constructive, even destructive. Some reject the sense of seeking and call upon their own spirit to be the sole leader. Most spirits really aren’t capable of leadership without direction. Oh, the person is still better… functions more wholly… with spirit as unifier, but they do not accomplish what they could with help.
And I shall say it yet again: assistance from Me, the Spirit, is an upbuilding help. You are stronger and better for it. You are not better from having “gone it alone”. The help I give is incorporated into your being and becomes part of your strength… indistinguishable from what is originally and truly yours. That is My gift. Use it well.
Yes, hear how I shall help with the organization and the “making” of this presentation. I am not giving it to you directly, as I do on these pages, but, nevertheless, I shall be a helpful guide.
The challenge of life is the balance and the rhythm of your several dimensions. The physical is so immediately obvious… keep it “presentable”. The mental is certainly important in your work… be a good steward of the mental capacities that you have and learn more and seek new synthesis and teach others. The emotional is sometimes obvious… and the positive emotions should be shown even more. If the positives are dominating, the negatives have a hard time making a showing. The social is your developed capacity with other people, with groups, and with institutions. Expect the best, but accept what is offered.
And the spirit doth unite and unify these other dimensions. Tell this and show it. This shall be a fine way of celebrating Our first anniversary as a functioning team. Of course I arranged it. Trust Me to remember in unique ways.
Be of an open and loving spirit on this trip. Accept things as they come and make them better. Both/and. This is a day of preparation.
