The Panorama Of Earth Life

You are in the midst of a time when your panorama of life is full and varied. One varied activity follows another, and you already are looking ahead to your return home. It is an exciting time, but I still want you to have this time with Me, so that your perspective on all that you experience will be as close to Mine as your maturity allows.

The experience of having Nessa with you has been an interesting one, with you feeling more responsibility for her enjoying the visit than just doing what you feel like doing. You have done more “tourist things” than you would have done were she not here. That has been generally positive, making your part of the panorama more varied. And, remember, anything that urges you to look beyond yourself and think of others rather than self is good for your spirit.

As these unusual life events constitute your present panorama you must reflect on how each shall be valued and what you should do with the time still left in your visit here. It was strange not to say goodbye to some of those at the Sunday picnic, but it seemed the easier way at the time. You consider that some of your conversations could have been more spiritually focused… and weren’t… which were opportunities lost. You should write to Anajean… a note of appreciation for encouraging the continued friendship with this “class.” Even as her path diverges from yours more and more, she has been a helpful friend, and, in love, you should express your appreciation. A note to Jay is also desirable. Don’t forget these as your summer panorama roles on.

You are a teeny part of the panorama of earth life that I see and experience. Being outside of time and space I can see and be in the panorama in ways you can only try to imagine. I am here with you, helping you to appreciate what has happened and be better prepared for what lies ahead. I can see what lies ahead for you, and I can know of alternative futures depending on what you decide to do or not do. I am a valued part of the lives of many other humans, Christians and non-Christians. With many others I take the initiative, as I did with you. I respond to prayers. Even as you try you can’t quite comprehend how all of this can happen.

Within this vast panorama of earth life is the continual interplay of good and apparent evil. I say “apparent evil,” as you know, because whatever happens is what I cause or allow, however awful it may seem. Further, I see the good that comes forth from confrontations with evil, and I see it all as a panorama outside of time. You have some personal memories of this “day of infamy” when this island was bombed, and war with Japan began. Most of those who were in the crowd at that memorial yesterday have no such personal memories. It was simply an historical war, happening before their earth lives began or before they had appreciation of such a conflict.

Wars and oppression continue today, and the weapons are more destructive. On one street persons die. On another babies are born… children go to school… young men start satisfying jobs. And I tell you again that I see much more love, compassion, and cooperation in the panorama than hate, cruelty, and selfishness. Much of the good in earth life is unpublicized.
