The Revealing

It came a day earlier than you expected, o son… it was unexpected, but reasonably natural. With your last class yesterday you spoke of this writing meditation, and there seemed to be both interest and support… and almost no antagonism. Today you shall present it as a part of a research process, and if you do it humbly and comfortably the response should be equally favorable. On the other hand, your venture into teaching at the church seems not to be successful. Rejections are also good for your spirit. Be willing to lead the group as long as it stays together, but don’t try to hold it beyond its own vitality. Fulfill requests, but don’t exert yourself to maintain a group when its interest does not maintain.

Many shall come briefly as this aspect of your life is revealed, but most shall taste and back away. It is very important that you remain on good terms with those who do not accept this gift. Do everything you can to alleviate fears and dispel feelings that you are someone to be avoided. You must still be known for other professional contributions. I know that it shall be difficult with all the work I have outlined for you in the next weeks, but be aware of other opportunities, such as the goals statements for Larry, that can keep you fully within the realm of professional orthodoxy.

You expect from Me today two more examples for the presentation today, this afternoon. You have no thoughts about these so what I reveal shall not be just another version of what you could do yourself. One shall be female, young adult, and shall develop from Ann’s reaction paper. The essence of it shall be having a baby, with the support of husband, and the feelings of spirit as the new life comes into the world. Again, spirit can be a pain preventer and/or pain reliever. You also see that you can develop another one around Maggie and Nessa’s birth, and still another one around Wendy and Megan.

The other one should come from the Indian Prayer there on your desk and be about an old Indian. It should emphasize the Great Spirit’s presence in the wind, the rocks, and the leaves, and the Indian’s desire to eventually come to the Spirit without shame.

Those give a balance to the other two, and you may find them helpful as illustrations in the discussion part of your presentation. Be sure you ask them… those in the 533 group… for suggestions on how to develop this research process. It shall be a good thinking exercise for them, and may provide you with some unexpected insights.
