The Spirit Speaks

Yes, o son, the Spirit does speak and you do hear. Is this natural or supernatural? Some of each, actually. I, the Spirit, speak to you of a reality beyond what is called the “natural”, and it is of such a quality that it can readily be called the “super” natural. Yet it comes to you in quite a natural way. You are hearing My Voice using your inner, but natural, communication system, and you are writing this down as it translates readily into words… phrases… sentences. The pen is a part of the created natural world… and also the paper. For you, then, what We do together is a very natural happening. But the fact that most people do not do this… or believe that they could… gives the meditation a supernatural quality.

You are telling your class, yesterday (and rightly) that communication takes place through other means than academic words. That is so true. Be sure and emphasize the story today, either told or sung. And realize that this is one effective way that I, the Spirit, speak to you. I can give you stories to tell, or I can give you insights on happenings, particularly the personal ones, that become stories. Your Ruminations has become a story… of an injury and the reactions of you and Me to it. You have told it well. You can begin the process for the next one, for these joint stories should begin to flow, with regularity, from you to selected others. Know that this is definitely a way that I speak. You heard your sister attest that it had helped her. You must do those for your father. Generally follow Lenore’s leading in the outflow of these writings. I shall give her more discernment that I give to you about how these teachings of Mine can be useful.

I spoke through Andy last evening, even in a brief way. I gave you the insight thusly: the Scriptures foretell the advent of Me as Jesus and record My life, death, and resurrection. They give evidence of My reality, though I was only physically real to a relatively small group of people in a small portion of the earth for a short time. When I returned to this realm I sent forth My Holy Spirit, one with Me and My Father, and I, that Spirit, do speak to you now.

As Jesus, I came as the Word, and I said things that seemed counter to the Scriptures. The best scholars of that time generally felt that what I said and did was not consonant with the Scriptures. Yet what I said and did later became Holy Scripture. And now, again, I, the Spirit, not bound by interpretations of Scripture, continue to speak to and through selected personalities.
