Transition

Yes, o son, this is the theme for this day, for your “study” is now virtually disassembled, and your new one has not yet emerged. So you are in transition from the major site of these meditative writings of Ours to another one. And this deserves some reflection.

As you and Lenore talked yesterday it became evident that your life together is now suffering pains. This is not all bad, for as I have told you before pains can lead you to analyze the cause, and, hence, institute some changes. So, are you in transition to a situation better for your relationship… or not? You are now in a “place” where you each are trying to do more than you are able, involving matters divergent from each other. That is, most of the things you are doing do not involve her, and her matters are not those with which you want to be involved.

You thought, but briefly, fortunately, yesterday that this issue of Ruminations was a project you needn’t have done at this time, taking the time and effort it did. This thinking was wrong, by My standards. This is the sort of work you are in transition toward, so you must consider other uses of time as ones to change. For, in addition to its being a work that reveals your relationship with Me it was a task that involved you and Lenore together in complementary ways. For the sake of your continued relationship these are projects to value rather than to discontinue. This should be your highest priority: working together on something that will bring My Presence, My Active Presence, to the lives of people.
