You Did It!

Well, I urged you to tell your spiritual story to this class group yesterday, and… you did it! You were concerned about the time, and you shortened the story some from what you had “rehearsed”, but you did put emphasis on My coming to you, making for what is now over an 18 year relationship. That was good… and the testimonies from those who have been Ruminations readers during this past year were spirit warming.

The story wasn’t as complete as I wanted it to be, however. The fact that you forgot the songs you had planned is one reminder. You did fairly well with predestination, and the Teachings you read reinforced that perception. What you didn’t clarify was the knowledge of eternal, everlasting life that I have given you. So you’re not yet completely “out of the closet”.

You did emphasize, enough, that you are a Christian mystic, even a Presbyterian “one”. What you didn’t make clear enough is that you’re a sort of “middle-aged” soul (not yet an “old soul”) now aware that you have had past lives here in the earth, even as the details of these are not yet clear… and won’t be in this life. I don’t want you to refer to this as reincarnation. I want you to use the Christian “description”: eternal or everlasting life. Life is eternal, for life is, fundamentally, spiritual. I am Spirit, and all individual spirits emanate from Me. Then, somewhat like a perennial flower that grows from a bulb, an individual spirit comes forth from Me and has life in the earth as a human or as some other form of “life”, in the earth or in some other realm.

Earth life as a human is a “mixture” of predestination and free will. The mixtures are different in different individuals. Some of you I guide more fully. You shouldn’t be surprised at this… the Bible has story after story of My choosing one individual over another, or others. I chose Abel over Cain, and that got him killed, so being chosen isn’t all “glory”. I chose David over all of his older brothers. As Jesus I chose 12 disciples to have the pleasure and lesson of sharing life with Me… and from these Peter, James, and John were most “special”. I chose Paul to be the church-builder, a very unlikely choice.

I have chosen you to be a particular kind of health educator, and here, near the end of your career, you are being just about who I want you to be. Will you have some more classes, after these this summer? I won’t tell you now. Just know that if you are given more opportunities to teach it is because of Me… and if there are no more, that is My Will.

Earlier in this life you had some growth of spirit with your own will and resources… even as I guided you to the decisions I wanted (and that We had planned for you… you and Me). Now more growth will come if I guide you more fully. The “balances” are different, not only for individuals but also for each of you at different times in an earth life.

So… now you are self-identified as a mystic who hears regularly from Me, Holy Spirit. You can also indicate you are aware of (and appreciate) life as eternal… much more than the 3 score and 10 years that you just have completed. You are on a spiritual journey, from Me back to Me. When you no longer need to have a human form and an individual essence you shall gently and “freely” merge back into Me. You have accepted My Grace, and that “speeds you along”, but you still have some need for individuality. When that’s gone you’ll be quite aware of the shift.
